• Job Title:  Pharmacy technician

• Job type:  Contract
• The Director of Pharmacy (Hospital) is responsible for collaborating with Pharmacy and System leaders to develop system-wide strategies and priorities for the individual acute care services provided at (hospital).
• Collaboration with hospital leaders within their hospital to ensure pharmacy services are appropriate and delivering required outcomes are a core responsibility of this position.
• Responsibilities also include leading operational and clinical activities, ensuring regulatory compliance, meeting fiscal expectations and ensuring staff competency.
• Communication of key activities, outcomes, and improvement are also responsibilities of this position.
• Work situations are varied requiring a strong pharmaceutical knowledge base, change management, problem solving, decision-making, data analysis, and leadership.
• Internal contacts include all leadership at all levels, medical staff, and staff.
• External contacts include physicians, competing organizations, vendors and professional organizations.
