Job Description:

To take OUAI customers and R&D to new heights, we are looking for Data Scientist to recruit. In this position, through the OUAI (Oracle Utilities Analytics Insights) product and its 100 TB+ of cloud-hosted data, you will work with our talented and growing team of data scientists and data analysts to prepare, execute and deliver actionable analytical insights for electric, water, and gas utilities. Our analytics team works aggressively across product/R&D and customer management teams to identify analyses based on customer requirements, develop fast solutions, and then work as part of the product to deliver those solutions in a repeatable and generalizable way. We use a mix of technologies and platforms like MySQL,

 

Qualification::

• MS in the fields of Informatics, Mathematics, Statistics, Physics, Economics or  other STEM;
• 1-3 years of technical work experience with customer-facing deliverables and internal team management in a data analytics role;
• A major plus is a previous experience and knowledge in smart metering data, but successful applicants will also be considered without this experience.
• Framing and evaluating previous knowledge in a relational database environment (e.g. Oracle DB, MySQL, PostgreSQL, MSSQL) and by spreadsheet-based software.
• Prior experience is highly favored in programming languages (e.g.Python) and statistical programming languages (e.g. R, SAS, SPS, etc.)
